Veni Vidi Vici - Carol Danvers - Book Dragon

In which a Skrull experiment designed to defeat the Kree and the Captain missing her memories of Earth form an unlikely but powerful alliance.

Emery June was once a normal Skrull, until the day she lost her home, was separated from her family and had no money to get by. In exchange for safety and stability, she allowed Skrull scientists to experiment on her, giving her powers and making her a weapon that could help bring down the Kree and their tyranny.

Then Emery's friend and leader Talos captures a woman called Vers, a Kree operative with memories locked inside of her, memories the Skrulls need to escape the Kree. When Vers escapes, Emery pursues her, only to get locked in an escape pod and heading for Earth with one of the enemy. The only way for Emery to survive is to work with Vers, even if she hates the thought of it.

When the two women crash into a Blockbuster, they are plunged into a quest for knowledge about Vers' old life, accompanied by more unlikely allies. And as they find out more about the past, Emery and Vers - or Carol Danvers as she really is called, find out that they aren't so different after all.

Together, these two powerful women could shake worlds, and if that's what it takes to do good then that's what they're going to do.
