When 16-year-old Tori went on her daily stroll across the beach, she did not expect to become a victim of an almost-murder, much less the victim of a murder from a hungry demon slashing it's tallons. From her daily life she is suddenly thrust into a whole new world of Athens and Metics.

Her first meeting with Athens, who's sole purpose is to protect their worlds barrier from the clutches of demons, consists of her repeating that she is simply a human. Yet why do the people of Kentro find this hard to believe when they claim she has an aura brimming with different kinds of magic? And why does she have the ability to remember them even when she looks away?

Forced into a school full of magic without knowing her own, will Tori be able to survive from the bottom of the unspoken hierarchy. Or will she climb in power and fame and use it to protect the barrier of Kento and Earth from breaking.
