"Listen, I should explain-"
"Don't worry about it. I know that it was a dare." I said, opening my locker.
Andre furrowed his brow. "Who told you that?"
"No one. I just figured it out on my own." I said. "Obviously it was a dare because nobody would want to kiss me, especially not you."
"What do you mean by that?" Andre murmured.
"Oh come on." I turned to him. "I'm not exactly like the other girls you have dated." He raised an eyebrow and I sighed before continuing. "I'm not pretty."
"Don't say that." He said.
"Why? We all know it's true." I shrugged. "Everyone knows that there is no way whatsoever that I will ever get a good boyfriend."
"Why's that?" Andre's voice rose. "Just because a couple of people don't think you're beautiful, Riley, doesn't mean that someone else does. Hell you're so damn oblivious that you don't see that maybe someone that could be standing directly in front of you, may think that you are the most amazing thing in the world!"

-When you have a very weak rib cage, screw safety and do whatever stupid thing you want.
