Jade Westcott is about to meet her dad's girlfriend, Christina. Only to find out she is going to be her stepmother.

Madison McKay is excited to meet her mom's boyfriend. But is disappointed to find out her new stepsister is a boring loser, instead of the popular girl her mother had described.

Jade's dad, Sebastian, just happens to be the producer/manager of her favorite band, Across The Avalanche, and she always gets VIP passes for concerts in town. But this time, Madison gets the tickets, and there is no way she's ever going to give them to Jade. Jade soon finds out her dad has one more ticket, which her dad says she can have as long as she gets along with Madison.
