At least it wasn't vampires. That was Angelica's only consolation as she sat beside the bath. She glanced the boy lounging in the bath and playing with the bubbles. How did it come to this?

Angelica Aubrey had an ordinary life. She lived with both her parents, had two little brothers and had a relatively normal family, with the exception of the twins of course. So how on Earth had she come into possession of a merman?!

Laiken is a merman...he prefers the term mermaid though. He just wondered into the aquarium one day and started up a conversation with the obscenely rude turtles.

Angelica has no idea how she's supposed to "return him to the ocean" or why he decided to live in her bathtub of all places but it's happened. Not that she's complaining or anything, because there has to be some advantages to having a merman living in your house, right?
