Meet seventeen year old Ave Johnson, all she wanted that night was to hang out with her friends she didn't expect to come home to find her parents murdered. The police have her down as their number one suspect and when you think things can't get any stranger, they do.

Ave finds herself running from evil things that go bump in the night, her old life vanishing, stealing police cars, disappearing handcuffs, having a white hawk stalk her and still try to convince herself that she's normal.

When she gets into some trouble at a servo, a handsome nineteen year old guy flies in and saves the day. No literally, he flies in. The stranger doesn't give her a name but offers her answers to questions she can't find answers to, the question is.. can she trust him?

What Ave knows will be tested as she finds herself falling deeper and deeper into the world of unknown. Will she learn to trust the handsome stranger? or will she turn to the very creature that wants her dead? Because when you don't know who you really are, you'd do anything to find out.
