Except Nina Gregory. Her whole family are Anitars - people with animal powers - but she never manifested and at the age of 16 she's given up trying.
Her younger sister manifested Rabbit powers ages ago, her Mum is a Tiger and her Dad is a Fish.
When invited to Muldoon Academy, a castle on an island just off Scotland where everyone with a chance to become an Anitar goes, Nina refuses.
She is just fine being normal, thank you very much.
But when her sister is kidnapped in front of her, she has to set off on a search mission, first stop Muldoon Academy - where she meets a bunch of crazy friends and a mysterious young man named Alisdair.
Can Nina manifest her inner animal? Can she, Alisdair and their friends act to save her sister in time?
