I took that, and instead thought, "what if the good guy, got so bored of not having any more evil plans to foil, he started seeking out people, and beating them up, trying to find another nemesis, killing random parents so that the kid might have some sort of... feeling.... the need for revenge. He did this so much he became the bad guy. Until another villain, came in, and tried to take his place of top villain, that he didn't even know he held."
